Aqua cycling is a great way to get fit, whilst feeling all the benefits of water-based exercise. It's one of the best ways to burn calories, tackle cellulite and enhance flexibility. Plus, it's great for general health and wellbeing, with low impact on joints and muscles.

Aqua Cycling is an innovative new way to exercise, which offers participants some real physical benefits. Stationary bikes are submerged into the pool; you sit waist-deep in the water and pedal away against the natural resistance of the water, creating a full-body workout.
This type of workout combines two exercise elements that separately are great, but together are phenomenal – water and spinning, offering a myriad of health benefits:
• Burns calories
• Breaks down cellulite
• Helps to relieve joint pain
• Increase blood flow, breathing capacity and cardiovascular endurance
Aqua Cycling is suitable for people of all ages and abilities and offers a safe, effective workout with the water providing a cushioning effect for the body to reduce impact even when exercising at a higher intensity.
Classes are running in a section of the open swim area of the pool at the following times:
Tuesday 12.30 - 13.15 and 19.30 - 20.15
Wednesday 20.00 - 20.45
Thursday 11.00 - 11.45
Friday 12.00 - 12.45
Saturday 9.15 - 10.00
Classes are available to purchase in flexible packs as follows:
- Starter pack 2 sessions £18
- 10 sessions £89 (discounted rate for River Bourne members £79)
- 20 sessions £152 (discounted rate for River Bourne members £135)
- OFF PEAK classes - if you are planning to attend only Tuesday and Friday lunch time classes you can benefit from the discounted rate members rates
