Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga 

Pregnancy Yoga - Wednesday evenings @ 8:30pm - 9:30pm

Suitable for both beginners and experienced yoginis at this special time of change. This gentle class offers a blend of physical postures, breathing techniques and deep relaxation, designed to help you throughout your pregnancy and to prepare for labour. The class allows you to relax, focus on yourself and your baby, and to meet other expectant mums. Studies have shown the benefits of prenatal yoga include:

  • Improved quality of sleep
  • Increase muscle strength and endurance
  • Improved posture as your centre of gravity changes
  • Reduced pregnancy associated aches and pains
  • Better bonding with your unborn baby
  • Increased confidence and ability to manage labour
Pregnancy yoga is the perfect place to network and meet other mums-to-be during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters.
Cost: £10 per class. Limited places, please book.

Postnatal Yoga (babies welcome*)  - Tuesday mornings @ 11:45am - 12:45pm     

A wonderful way for beginners and experienced yoginis alike to support your body’s recovery following pregnancy, labour and birth. This is also a lovely way to bond with your new baby as he or she lays close by on a blanket or towel*. This gentle class aids healing through a blend of gentle yoga postures, breathing techniques and deep relaxation. Suitable from 6 - 8 weeks post-partum* until baby begins to crawl.

The benefits of postnatal yoga include:

  • = Strengthens abs, lower back and pelvic floor muscles
  • = Releases tension around the neck and shoulders
  • = Reduces stress and anxiety around being a new mum
  • = Helps to rebalance hormone levels
  • = Increases bonding with your new baby
  • = Improves quality and quantity of sleep
Postnatal yoga is the perfect place to connect with other mums and babies!
