Ramblers Walking for Health

Walking is a great way to get fit, explore what's on your doorstop and make new friends. Join one of our FREE and friendly guided walks.

Tasha Feddery, from CornerHouse Woking, leads walks for Ramblers Walking for Health and she will take a group of walkers around the highways and byways of Chertsey.  Whilst ‘Walking for Health’ is run on a national scale by the Ramblers & MacMillan, we tend to refer to ourselves as ‘amblers’ not ramblers and walkers are encouraged to walk at a pace that suits them! We’re a friendly bunch and enjoy finishing the walk with a cup of tea/ coffee and a chat. In fact, it’s the social side of the group that makes it so popular.

Walks from The River Bourne Club

On the first Tuesday of each month there is a walk that take no more than 90 minutes and routes are generally between 2.5 and 3.5 miles.  They take place in the afternoon and everyone meets in the foyer of the club at 1.15pm for a 1.30pm start.

The group returns to the club afterwards, and you can enjoy some social time in the cafe and indulge in some coffee and cakes.
