Group exercise is a major focus of ours, so across our 3 exercise studios,. Teaching the best classes is all about personality and empathy… and we’re lucky to have a fantastic roster of the best group exercise instructors in the area … some have been teaching here for years, some just arrived with the latest workouts… we also offer for the 65+ carefully choreographed, energetic classes…..so whatever you’re looking for, we’re bound to have an instructor and a workout to suit you!
We have an array of My Zone classes including MZ Sweat, MZ Circuits, MZ Lift & MZ Mix. The classes use a range of equipment but all focus on the MyZone training zones. A heart rate belt is worn during the class and the instructor will guide you through which heart rate zone you should be working in at each time. All classes guarantee an enjoyable, intense workout and will earn you plenty of “MEPs” towards your monthly target. A MZ belt is essential for this class; for more information please speak to a member of the gym or reception team.
Our Aqua aerobics classes offer a great, fun way to exercise in the pool! Not only will you have the instructor and the music to push you, but our aqua aerobics classes offer a great community spirit too. Exercise in the water is not only enjoyable, but highly beneficial due to its low intensity nature. The resistance of the water will test you as will the option of using the water dumbbells too.

More than your average core workout! Activate your abs in this 30 minute blast but do expect a cheeky bit of cardio to be thrown in there too!
Sometimes you can’t beat good old fashioned circuit training! An ideal way to hit multiple muscle groups in one session as well as pushing your heart rate up too!
HIIT stands for “High-intensity Interval Training” and is an interval-based class that combines full-body strength training and high intensity cardio bursts to tone your body and improve your endurance. An excellent class to gain results in a short amount of time.
One of the favourites! Our Legs, Bums and Tums classes are low impact and suitable for all fitness levels. We use a variety of different equipment and body weight exercises to target those stubborn areas of the lower body.
Lower Body Blitz
A 30-minute blast of the lower portion of your body. A short but fun class that will target the legs. There is not a muscle that will be left untouched! The class is tailored for all fitness levels, so why not give it a go?
Low Impact Aerobics
A 30-minute full body workout using our Power Plates. The Power Plates will amplify the benefits of smaller movements, without additional weights, making it ideal for everyone from beginners to elite athletes.
Pure Upper Body
Working alongside your core muscle, the upper body will be targeted using a variety of compound and isolation based exercsies. Whether it is to tone or strengthen, your upper body will feel like it had been given a strenuous workout in only 30 minutes!
Stretch and Tone
Looking for better strength and flexibility? This class uses yoga, tai chi and Pilates movements to tone your tum, legs and arms, work your muscles to help you move better, bend more easily and reach higher.
A motivational workout on a bike! Our qualified cycling instructors will lead you through a journey designed to provide a fun, yet challenging workout. Class intensities vary but you can change your bike resistance to suit your fitness level.
Total Body Conditioning
Total Body Conditioning is a whole body workout that can improve your overall fitness, which also makes it one of our most versatile classes. These classes are perfect if you are training hard for a particular sport or if you simply want to get in shape and feel great about your body.
Women on Weights
We want to squash those fears that many women have about weight training! This female only class will use a variety of free weights (dumbbells, barbells, etc.), you’ll be taught the correct techniques for lifting and enjoy an intense workout at the same time! Every trainer will bring a different element to the class, but you can be guaranteed that you will leave feeling muscles you never knew existed!
This is a flow Yoga in which movement is synchronised to the breath, the poses run together and the breath acts as an anchor to the movement as you flow from one pose to the next in time with an inhale or an exhale.
A variety of Yoga and Pilates moves are used to challenge and improve muscular strength, core stability, endurance and flexibility, leaving you feeling worked, stretched and more stable and relaxed.
