Our Aqua classes at The River Bourne Club are incredibly popular. Always fun and with a great group of people too! Aqua aerobics is a good choice of low impact fitness class for those new to exercise, those who can’t move easily, and those who want to get fit and lose weight.
As well as being a good heart & lung workout, Aqua aerobics helps to strengthen the body because the water offers resistance. Unlike in the gym, the resistance exerted by water applies in both directions, too, as you push and pull against it. This means that each movement you make works two opposing muscle groups, not just one. Same effort: double the benefit.
And, did I mention our Aqua class community have great banter too! Always to be found in the café after a class chatting with a tea or coffee!
